Abstract

Article presents the Tuvan period of scientific career of Yekaterina Dmitrievna Prokofieva, well-known as a specialist in culture of Selkups. In 1950’s she has been productive in researching the Tuvan ethnography and has written a monography "National consolidation process of Tuvans”. It was published by Kunstkamera only in 2011.
