Social and economic processes in South Siberian regions and adaptation conditions of the population to the new conditions of life

Economic and social situation in regions of Southern Siberia, despite obvious tendencies to improvement in this area, are still difficult to be named as safe. Positive changes are not quite considerable. Industry, agriculture, housing and communal services, certain branches of infrastructure have been functioning in a mode of narrowed reproduction for almost twenty years. There are inter-regional distinctions between the regions in the basic social and economic indexes. We can allocate conditionally: regions with rather steady economic and social situation (Republic of Khakassia) and regions with rather low social and economic indexes (Republics of Tuva and Mountain Altai).References
