Article examines the first novel in the Tuvan literature "Chügürük Sarala” ("Yellow piebald ganger/At bird’s heels”) by M. Kenin-Lopsan first published in 1965. It is the evidence of approval of a novel as a genre in the Tuvan literature. Novel identified the main ideological and artistic features in M. Kenin-Lopsan’s oeuvre that saw further development in his works.References
