A history of the «Syldyschygash» newspaper (1945-1959) To the 65th anniversary

The article is devoted to the period of creation (1926-1944) and further development (1945-1959) of «Syldyschygash» (A little star) periodical. This research is based on a political and book-keeping documents, statistical dates, newspapers files and Tuvan press veterans memoirs. The article demonstrates an important role of «Syldyschygash» in communistic ideology dissemination, liquidation of illiteracy of children and young people and the rise of their social and creative activities, development of national consciousness and self-knowledge of Tuvan people.References
