Abstract

Foundation of Tuvan state formation in the center of Asia became possible as a result of victories of Red Army over the White movement. Most of the peasants and nomads of Usinsk-Uryankhay region supported the Bolsheviks. Consequently Russian and Tuvan elites initiated proclamation of Tannu-Tuva Ulus Republic.
