Influence of the Chinese culture on the traditional life of Tuvans

Article presents the brief overview of trade relations history between the Tuvan indigenous tribes and China starting from the 8th century B.C. which resulted in processes of acculturation in Tuva. Chinese culture’s influence over the everyday life and traditions of Tuvans intensified in 18th century C.E. when Tuva became semicolony of the Qing Empire.References
