Abstract

The article is devoted to the Sart-Kalmyk version of "Jangar” epos kept in the Archive of the Kalmyk Institute of Humanities of the Russian Academy of Sciences, recorded by A. Burdukov – a famous researcher of Mongolia. An analysis of storyline is performed in the article as well as an analysis of ancient motives of this version of the epos and its properties.
